S H A P E: The Supper Club edition.
This is a World Economic Forum (WEF) initiative with a tribe of over 450 hubs (or cities) around the world. All hubs are run independently with guidance from the WEF mothership.
A member of our team will be in touch after you submit the form below.
We align with humans who are unafraid of pioneering a new way to dine, and have built companies around that theme. Think: Dan Barber (Blue Hill in NY, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns in upstate NY), René Redzepi (Noma in Denmark, and newly, 108, Denmark), or Peggy Chan (Grassroots Pantry in Hong Kong, Peggy is also a Shaper:).
These are examples of individuals who chose to be food architects. They care about ecosystems, and creating the best food with ingredients they foraged themselves. They work with every part of the cow, or garden-grown pea. Unapologetically, they make flavours pop.
To finish: their plating game could be on display as a live art exhibit at MoMA. They are chefs who care about taste, design, and thoughtfulness in execution.
If the above sounds like a fit, and you want to be considered as a 'Supper Club purveyor partner', you can contact us here.
The Shape Supper Club launches in January 2017. Following this, the first Friday of every month. It's hosted by independent Shaper hubs around the world. Our theme: peace.
Each month, a different hub choses a new way to explore or unpack peace. Our intention is to build a global ritual, once a month, that collectively grounds us to a theme of stillness: peace. This could be to host a dinner with blindfolds on and explore empathy, or it could be to host a meal at a homeless shelter, create a meal using local food only, or to invite strangers to a dinner party.
Our intention is to share snacks with great brains, and remind ourselves that we are part of a larger collective of humans. Humans that are open to having hard conversations or experiences, and want to learn from them. It's a Supper Club for humans who believe in grueling and peaceful growth.
The founding Supper Club hubs will be unveiled January 2017.
If you have any questions about the above, or otherwise, someone from our team is happy to help. We're into questions.
